Today is the funeral of the husband of a dear dear friend of mine. This has been a busy time in both of our lives, and I don't see her often, but our friendship is one of those where, even if you haven't seen each other in a year, you can pick up the phone and start right where you left off. Our families grew. We are getting older. And I miss her. My kids miss her kids. Neighbors when our families were young, we were connected right from the start. What good times we had. Memories...
