Monday's calligraphy

Using Pebeo drawing gum, we lettered, then covered with a watercolor wash and then removed it to reveal the letters.









Then, going along with my last post, I did these on the deck while painting with Danielle. Now I have some flower quotes to letter over the little flowers and make cards.

    Lovely flowers, April. I've never heard of Pebo gum -- always used W.N. resist. And your grand-daughter is blessed to have you to inspire and encourage her artistic flair!

    Exquisite flowers, April. So soft and they look like they are dancing. What a nice place to do them on the deck with Danielle! Can't get much better than that!
    Love the calligraphy project too. Pretty....

    Thanks! I love to paint these little flowers too. Barbara Close taught us how to do these a long time ago at a workshop, and they are such fun!
