Saturday was Brent's graduation from college! We had dinner the night before at Bass Street Chop House in Moline.

Then Saturday morning...Graduation!
The campus looked beautiful with all the white chairs and tents waiting for the guests and graduates.

There was a nice breeze, but it was a hot 90 degree day.
A lovely luncheon buffet set up in a big tent after the ceremony.

you must be so proud of them both...Julie for raising such a fine son...and Brent for his achievements

Yes, so proud. He'll be vacationing and then working at a beautiful fishing lodge in Canada for the summer and then taking a year off school before he goes for his masters. Oh Sue, he has it in his heart to be a writer. He's so good too. His professors are encouraging him and his wonderful high school journalism/english teacher from high school came to the graduation. He has so many people behind him.
