the beginning

Last week, we had a lovely vacation in Door County.  Different for us; we usually stay further up in Ephraim or Fish Creek but this year we stayed in Sturgeon Bay at  The Chanticleer Inn.  Very pretty.  Very peaceful.

Beyond that fence, to my delight, were sheep!

These are Border Leicester sheep.

They're very sweet and shy.
