Added some notes that I was thinking about when I added those images...

It's August 1st!  Let's create an August page for our journals!  Another month flew away.  Take time to be creative...

Started this "Itty Bitty" a couple of days ago; finished it today.  It's only about 3"x 4".  I have learned this in an online class with KelliMayKrenzArt.  Always loved handstitching and this is so much like collage, but with tiny pieces of leftover fabric and "this & that". 

So...yesterday I continued with the watercolors making circles on watercolor paper; wet circles and then drop or brush in other colors and let them "do their thing".  At first I thought "eh" but then, when they were completely dry, I did cut them with a circle punch and grew to like them better.  It was fun to do and I'm sure you can come up with some dandies!  Give it a "swirl"! 

A "strata" collage of many strips of different magazine pictures.  Fun to do and look who's sitting in the front!  I wanted to create a scene to go with this quote:
