It was a sad day...but wanted to document it.  I know Mother Nature has her reasons...

Drawing your day...every day finds some little things that are meaningful to you.

Still trying to catch the current day...just little sketches before the day gets away.  These are still done in  my journal, on the thinner paper and I hadn't gessoed the pages first, so may start using watercolor paper as add-ins.  Fun to remember the simple things that caught your attention on these simple days at home.

So journalers, just something to think about - draw your day.  I have to get used to this, but here are some starters.  Haven't written in days since our power was out from the storm.  As you know, I do write a lot on my pages in my journal, to document each day, but have always loved the effect of this type of journaling.  See what you think!

Sewing these "itty bitty"  ; a simple, relaxing thing to do in these days of upset.  Kelli May-Krenz teaches this class online.  It is fun to use up scraps of fabric that.....well, you know...I've saved.  Enjoy doing these little 3"x4" pieces in between reading after supper.
