I have not seen one this pale green before, Laura. Not sure. I will post a little blurp that I read about them. I find them so interesting - especially the moth stage. And Sue, the one that "crawled" across my crib when I was little was a lovely green. That was a dream, Laura, but so vivid that I remember it still today.
It is a hornworm. I found his horn. I was looking at the wrong end!
It's on the left. That's his back end.
