This week's collage class

I began at  home, doing a little layout, in my journal, of the idea for my collage this session.

A windy sky.  Birds sailing along.  The dark horizon with waves moving toward the shore.

And another day of paper-making on Wednesday.

Everyone brought trays of some sort as this painted paper will stay wet and has to be moved on a flat surface to take home to dry.

The mopped-up paper towels are always a favorite.  You know, nothing gets thrown out in collage!

And then had to do one of our favorites - paint dropped on white art tissue paper.

Journaling Meeting for the month of April

We had a nice little group, even though we missed some who were out of town.

Lots of sharing of ideas...

And then we went on to creating our own "washi tape"...

using Scotch Removable Tape, acrylics and a palette knife.

And here's how it looks when decorating our journal pages.

And some of the girls' sample pages for the month

Spring!

Just love the beauty and gentleness of the spring flowers...

they're telling me...

just a little more...

wind and chill and rain...

and the sun will shine.
