February is almost over...

I think of February as a short  month, but seems I had lots of journaling to do...

with classes going on and signs of Spring...

Added some snow to walk on in this one, as our last visit to the Lake was quite a cold day.

Quotes, doctors and things to do...

Valentine's Day and a Mary Oliver luncheon!

A pretty Valentine that I received.  Had to put it in my journal as the colors matched so well with the paint and tape colors I had used.

The Snowdrops were popping up at The Center and I'm seeing lots of birds singing for Spring!

and more doctor appointments, etc.

Expressing YOU.  Thought this was a delightful page to create in journaling class this week.
Thinking of colors that represent you, a photo or image, and a word to explain it all.
You know, I am enchanted with nature...

A good idea!

Enjoying the colorful painted backgrounds that Ginny told us about in journaling class.  Easy, using those little inexpensive "pots" of acrylic paint.

.....Thus in the winter stands the lonely tree
Nor knows what birds have vanished one by one
Yet knows its boughs more silent than before
I cannot say what loves have come and gone
I only know that summer sang in me
A little while, that in me sings no more.

Edna St. Vincent Millay

and on to February Journaling ...

Oh, still finishing up December and January birthdays!
and then beginning February...

Dan and Angel went to a painting class to do the Chicago skyline.  They had fun and did a wonderful job!

Decided to do poetry homework while waiting for Julie at the doctor's office.
And then, fun things, like Robins and making cards.

Painting class and ...just things.

A quote that I like.

and a favorite along with a magazine colors collage.

and one little "Peek".

Last week's collage class

Some were finished with their collage pieces, so I brought a box of scraps and we made tiny collages for cards.  Here's Maria picking out some treasures.

Lora Lee, working on her waterfall collage (as seen below).

Denise working on her Valentine piece to have printed for cards.

Judy working on little collages for cards and below is her lovely winter piece.

The cards are fun and were "a hit".  Here's Teri getting started.

Marge  and Eva working away...

and Peggy finishing up.
