This Friday is our Journaling session at The Center...
so here are a few more of my June pages, almost finished...
For some reason, I am taken with yellow flowers this year. Loved that quote by William Allingham, "I wish I were a primrose, a bright yellow primrose, blowing in the spring! I could just picture the girls daydreaming about this.
And it was Kassidy's birthday and one of the gifts was tickets to Taylor Swift's concert for both girls! Very exciting!
And little things to remember from the days of June.
Little mini watercolors

Our first summer art excursion was last Thursday at the Morton Arboretum.
Here is Lois, our teacher, tending us and helping us with our drawings and paintings.
I loved the colors of this beautiful plant.
Time for the critique...
and here are some of them...
I had noticed this little inchworm doing his yoga exercises on the plant I was drawing...
So later, I devoted a journal page to him.

Made our own stamps this month. Simple ones, carving into styrofoam tray pieces with a pen. Apply acrylic paint with a flat brush and there it is!
and examples of the finished designs...
I love the look of the added color that Barb did on top of a newspaper ad!
and some pages from the class journals.
So much fun!
