Journaling

Lost in my journal every day, and fitting in other new creative endeavors, it's been about three months since I've posted on here.  But this is also a journal for me...

Beginning July, I wanted to show my class how I drew my own borders on the page, instead of using the already designed Washi tape. Ending June with a plein air outing at the Peabody Estate and then it was the 4th of July.  Julie made a beautiful yummy "real" whipped cream cake for dessert.

The day at the Peabody.

The next week, we met at Judy's garden and Danielle came with me to draw.

Had another one of my collages framed.  It's a favorite as it's done from a photo of the town in Germany where my grandparents were married.  Made a stamp with Sketchbook Skool.  And it had been my turn to pick a book for book club - "Necessary Lies" and it is a great book!

Gina's ("No Excuses Art Journaling") inspiration for July is to write some poetry and do an illustration with it.

A busy week!

My stamp again

...and more busyness

Some more fun homework with Sketchbook Skool...
