Busy Wednesday

Here is the beginning of my February "Red" quilting square.  Not really joining this time, but going along with the "SoScrappy" challenge on http://www.superscrappy.blogspot.com/  .

 When finished, it will join January's "Blues".  I wonder what color March will be?

And this afternoon is my collage class.  I wanted to mute the start of this collage, so I have painted it with a gesso wash, an application that I was looking forward to seeing at that workshop that I went to in January.  I wanted a more cold wintery windy look.
