Brrrrrrrrr. Yesterday morning it was 6 below when I got up and this morning it's 3 degrees outside. Tomorrow, papers and scissors will be flyin' when we will be making some pretty valentines!
The bags are ready to collect the valentines that everyone brings for the valentine exchange.
And the valentines are ready!
Another sample to make, that I found in a Gooseberry book, is this envelope made from a lace doilie.
Pretty, with a red card showing through!

What a wonderful time with everyone April...every year everyone can count on you to host the Card making frenzy...so cool, I almost want to grab a few things from the pictures you took...cup cake tins to hold the goodies..great idea.. and Henri is a dear what kind of ball is that?? we have a big hard red one Hank likes his but we keep losing it in the house as he carries it around..
Thanks Laura. And yes, Henri loves those balls! The goldens always like tennis balls, but these are actually kids balls that i bought at probably Jewel or Walgreens during the summer. They are the kind that are hollow inside with a seam that goes around the middle of them. Henri managed to break the seams on both of these and so now has four halves from the two balls. He loves them and also carries them all around inside and out, buries them in the snow, etc. Sometimes they are missing for a day or so, but eventually the four halves reappear. Surprisingly, he doesn't chew them into shreads; he just loves the way they cup around his mouth!
Looks like a lovely extravaganza well planned!
