The last block of this piece for the year-long quilt blocks that I did for the Rainbow Challenge. The colors of December being red and green, of course.
Then adding it onto the rest of the months...and now to quilt it. This was so much fun!
Your blocks look beautiful all together like that. It is going to be a great quilt when you get them all joined into a top. Fabulous work on the challenge.
I haven't been following along with much of anyone's Rainbow Scrap Challenge progress in 2011 :( BUT, I hope to change that for 2012 :0)
Would you mind showing a pic of all your string blocks together? I started the Red for January 2012, and I am toying with the idea of strings for the year too, not realizing YOU already did this :0) I love how you put four of them together to make one large complete block. LOVELY!
My love of nature and love of paper have influenced my love of drawing, painting and making things for as long as I can remember. For me, there is excitement in the visual pleasure I get from copying the beauty of nature. The colors. The gentleness. With my artwork, I seek to inspire and enlighten the viewer.
