Blanche presses hundreds of Queen Anne's Lace every year to decorate the tree.
It is most beautiful!
The room has such a welcoming presence.
Then it was on to biscotti-making in the dining room.
Four kinds and we would all bring some of each home. And it's easy! Delicious!
After that, we went outside to take a night walk to "look for St. Nick". At each stop there was a note...
and a gift from him...
pretty little gifts for trimming our trees at home...
Soon it was time for bed and sleepy dreams of Christmas...
