Butterflies!

Today, Danielle and I made butterflies. I made templates for the different parts of the butterfly and traced them on wrapping paper of different patterns. Danielle cut them out and glued them on cardstock.

She then decided that the butterfly needs a bright sun and some clouds in her sky.

Add a little green grass, and it's a masterpiece! Isn't she beautiful? Thanks for this "out of this world art lesson" from www.deepspacesparkle.blogspot.com .

Oh my! That is SO adorable. What a budding artist you have there. I'm so glad my lesson inspired you and your granddaughter!

Hi April,
Like her grandma, Danielle continues to stretch her creative limits by leaps and bounds, but in a wonderful, joyful way. The butterfly is exquisite, her expression in the photo is just precious. I love watching her grow in so many ways here. Thanks so much for sharing your little angel.
She (and you) help my own "inner child artist" to come out.
