Today, Brent drives back to school. Spring break is over. He and Julie came for supper last night and I decided to make a pork roast, "grandma style". I got down my grandma's old aluminum roaster from the shelf and put it on top of the stove to roast slow. The meat gets nice and browned and the bottom of the pot gets all dark brown and sticky. And the meat gets so tender and some falls apart in chunks, "grandma style". Yum.

You've been busy April! I love story and your drawing of your Grandma's roaster, what an heirloom and still in use!
What ajoy to see and read Danielle's work too.
You have very fortunate birds to live near you, I hope they make happy, cosy nests!
Yum April
I love aluminum pans! They heat so evenly and clean so quickly!
