Started the ATC's for my class exchange with "torn paper" done each separately on the little individual watercolor papers.

Then Wednesday, we did a bigger one in class, layering strips of torn masking tape and torn assorted papers and finishing off with a wash of color over all.

Then on to "complicated papers". Tissue paper on top of freezer paper, with a wash of color, and then adding cut papers, torn papers, punched papers, and will add stamps, etc. We will use these papers in our collages for the upcoming session.

Today was drawing class and we are working on Mandalas. Here is mine in progress.

gosh those are pretty
Love the papers--what are the details of this technique? Looks fabulous. And the mandala--oooohhh--you must tell me how you go about making one of these. (When you have time.) See, I need to be taking your classes!
Lots of pretty in pink happening!
