Yesterday, Danielle and I were invited to a Tea at my neighbor's church. "Fancy & Frilly" Dolly and Me Tea Party. You were to "wear your fancy best and bring your favorite doll". I brought Danielle and she brought her new American Doll. It was quite an extravaganza! Everything was done beautifully. The church was decorated with frilly and feminine decorations; even the bathroom. There were games to play. Pink feathers that you tried to blow to keep them floating in the air. Tic Tac Toe played with stuffed white cotton tea gloves. Tossing tea hats into the ring. Guessing games, etc. Then there was a play. Outstanding scenery. "Felicity's Spring Gala" and the cast of five girls were wonderful little actresses. Door prizes! And the Tea in the "Ballroom" with a beautifully prepared menu was lovely, seating about 300 ladies and girls. Then each girl was given a craft package with the supplies of fleece and beads to make her doll a pretty little poncho. A very very nice time! Thank you... Anna and Elizabeth.
