the morning glories

I love these morning glories.  They're not blue like Sue's, but they are bright and pretty...and they're taking over the house.  They're growing up the purple plum tree.

Trumpeting out loud!

Growing over the bushes.

Up the deck rails.

All over and around.

Up the deck sides.

"What's happening?"

Stretching out into the sky.

Oh!  Oops.

Lovely! Do these morning glories become a pest? Are they hard to get rid of, should you want to get rid of them? I've never grown them. Here we have some ones called bindweed that look like white morning glories and you better hope they don't get into your garden. If the roots get tilled each little piece grows.
