It was cold, but a beautiful sunny day and not too windy. Julie, Brent and I took a ride with our friend to the Indiana Dunes, Beverly Shores area. So beautiful and yes, refreshing.
We walked all the way down to the water. The waves were awesome. The colors beautiful. The air brisk and clean. A happy new year day. More pictures on my other camera.

What a great thing to do today!! It really wasn't bad out despite the temp!! I have always wanted to go to the dunes "out of season"!! One of these days I'll get there!
My sister's family have taken a walk for years on New Years Day. They have been to the dunes in the past, this year they walked Michigan Avenue.
