The unknown

Well, hippity hop! I contacted the person who I thought was the author of the poem. She told me she has been given credit for it, but she did not write it, cannot take credit, and has been unsuccessful in finding out who did. Meanwhile, I think I have stumbled upon a wonderful talented family of authors/illustrators. www.clydewatson.com and www.wendy-watson.com . So, I will letter this lovely poem and give credit to "author unknown".
