One of the treats of Spring for me is to see the wildflowers coming up at The Center. Lois posted a sign in the art cabin, so we would identify one of the earliest beauties, the Bloodroot.
And here they were, still all buds when I arrived this morning and by the time I left around noon they had all opened up!
My love of nature and love of paper have influenced my love of drawing, painting and making things for as long as I can remember. For me, there is excitement in the visual pleasure I get from copying the beauty of nature. The colors. The gentleness. With my artwork, I seek to inspire and enlighten the viewer.

I saw the buds this morning, but was yacking when I left so didn't see them opened up. Thanks for the picture so I know what I missed
Mine are blooming too at the house, though I only have a small bunch but are they grand?
