Here is one of the two little ones peeking out.
They are growing and I am worried about the planter getting too heavy and falling, so I piled things up underneath so, in case of emergency, they will have a soft landing.

She must be very trusting of you April, to have nested so close to you. It's a lovely photo of your proud mother dove.. and I'm sure all will be well, now you have built a comforatble tower under her.

I have a cardinal nesting in my front honeysuckle and I am guarding it like a mom cardinal!

April this is great for a story for children with you illstrating it. I can see it done in collage or you drawings. So cool that you have this going on in your back yard. For the longest time we have these animal events every year we kind of wonder what this year was like and it seem to be the year of the rabbits. A few years ago it was the raccons.
You have such great pictures as reference too!!
