The Odeum

On Friday, I went to The Odeum in Villa Park, with Julie and some friends, to their Spring Arts & Crafts Festival.  Wow!  500 artists from all over the country.  Here are a few of the treasures that I brought home.  A very nice man from Tennessee creates these wonderful pieces of furniture, baskets and birdhouses.  This little chair holds my Rosemary very nicely.  I love it's sweet legs.

Another young woman paints these wonderful signs.  This little one is 2"x 4".  Love it and I want more!

Pretty little watercolors.

This "wrap" is the softest, prettiest fabric.  You just throw it over your head and voila!  Over a white blouse or shirt...nice and artsy!

Couldn't resist this darling little mouse.  Right now, she's visiting my mouse house.

Isn't she cute!

I haven't been to a good art fair in ages, wish I could have accompanied you. Fabulous things you came home with.

There is nothing that says spring like a craft show! What fun and lovely finds, especially that cute mouse!

Wonderful things! I haven't been to a good art fair in a long time either! I'm so glad your mouse house has a tenant!

Yes, you can not find art shows like this any more where everything is handmade. Used to go to one in Wilmington every spring with Julie and two of our best friends and yes - that's what "said spring"! That was years ago and this sure brought back that memory. This one happens twice a year, so again in November!
