Saturday morning art

First we made a snowman ornament, all bundled up with earmuffs and scarf.

Then, starting with a background of pastel rubbings, we created a snowy scene ready for skaters and sledders.

My sample to inspire the young artists. They all did their pastel backgrounds and were surprised at how they really looked like snowy hills.

Here we go with a beautifully chilly snowman.

Frolic in the snowy woods.

And even a "stop and go light".
