- My love of nature and love of paper have influenced my love of drawing, painting and making things for as long as I can remember. For me, there is excitement in the visual pleasure I get from copying the beauty of nature. The colors. The gentleness. With my artwork, I seek to inspire and enlighten the viewer.

That is a lovely little illustration there! Conjures up questions.
The illustration is from a photograph that I took of my grandson, Brent, when we were at his college campus last fall. I loved the autumn colors and walking behind him with his sauntering gait and knowing he is happy in his studies, just makes me feel so thankful that he is such a good young man.
