
A couple of days ago, when Danielle was here, we had a bee drawing lesson. She is pretty much afraid of all bugs. I had showed her that a bumble bee had landed in one of my empty wooden planters. I explained that he was a "good" bee and that he was just resting for a while before going on to the next flower. He sat there for a long time though and it just must have been "his time" as he never left. The next day, I collected him (as you can see below) to serve as a little model in my studio.

Oh, you beautiful little Bumble Bee. Danielle named him
"Wings".

Ohhhh. Somewhere I may still have some bumble bees found roadside. Hope he didn't take in pesticides somewhere!
