Flowers from my garden that Danielle and I picked the other day. She loves all the different colors and they inspire her to paint. I do think the purple ones are Japanese Windflowers.
I'm anxiously waiting for Danielle's take on the flowers. I just love her artistic enthusiasm. Hm, maybe it's time for a plein air jaunt to April's place! Didn't know you had such a beautiful garden. No wonder you get such neat creatures like birds and rabbits.
My love of nature and love of paper have influenced my love of drawing, painting and making things for as long as I can remember. For me, there is excitement in the visual pleasure I get from copying the beauty of nature. The colors. The gentleness. With my artwork, I seek to inspire and enlighten the viewer.

These are beautiful flowers; so colorful. Can't wait to see Danielle's interpretation. By the way, thank you for the kind words on my blog.
hmmm...I wonder where she gets the idea to PAINT these flowers?! They are beautiful; I'd love to paint them too.

We've called those purple flowers wild begonias.
