Collage class yesterday and I am not sure how my piece is going to come to a finish, but here it is. I guess I was imagining the Harvest Moon here in this make-believe landscape of dripping paint. Or maybe a burning autumn day somewhere. Hmmm.

This is such a beautiful color palette! Once I opened the picture separatly a completely new depth of elements emerged... I love the cheese cloth and all the small elements that come together, especially 'the fall' of the word Fall ~ I can't wait to see it onece it's finished! X Tatiana
Love all your comments! Thank you! And Bev, you just mix maybe three acrylic washes, wet your watercolor paper good, and apply your color in blobs or streaks. Pick up and tip and turn your paper one way and another and the color runs, making interesting things.
Tatiana - I am excited that you noticed the word "Fall". And just wanted to let you all know, that isn't cheesecloth - it's something that I bought on a roll, like wrapping paper but stiff, at World Market. I love it.
My love of nature and love of paper have influenced my love of drawing, painting and making things for as long as I can remember. For me, there is excitement in the visual pleasure I get from copying the beauty of nature. The colors. The gentleness. With my artwork, I seek to inspire and enlighten the viewer.

Ooh I see windows partially covered with a red flowering plant. Looks great April
Perhaps it's the coloring but it reminds me of laying on my back looking up into the changing leaves of a red maple tree. Ahhh...
Hey! Maybe the black square is my leather jacket!

Dreamy. I love the dripping paint. How do you get that effect? I want to do more of that with my art. Has a "fun" appeal to it.
Happy Autumn!
It's wonderful. Love it!
