Fabric all cut out and ready to stack in order and begin quilt.

Yesterday, in quilting class, got them all ready to go. Now to begin sewing!

And today is art class and I've begun this painting. I'm always drawn to snowy sledding and skating pictures, and this is a memory of a fun day!

I know why I like coming to read your blog. Your use of colors, your words, your artwork are all soothing. Even down to the way you dance along with life. Thank you.
What a great painting! I'll be waiting to see it finished. And what are you quilting now?
This little quilt will be 64 squares big. Each little square "pile" has a layer of cotton fabric on the top and then two layers of flannel. It's sewn together with wrong sides together, so that the the seams make a "ruffly" border around each square and each time you wash it, it will get "rufflier".
Your painting looks wonderful so far. Can't wait to see it finished. And I love your stack of valentines and fabrics!
