the vine

This vine has been trying to get a start for the last couple of summer seasons. I think it's a morning glory, but it hasn't ever flowered. It just climbs up the downspot. The leaves are pretty, like morning glory leaves.

From the downspot, it comes in and curls around the deck...

to visit the little fairy resting here.

Maybe she climbs it and swings on it at night when everyone is sleeping. I think she is waiting for it to flower too.
