Part III - Under Construction

 There was a feeling of excitement that morning with the building of the gingerbread houses!

 The beginning stages.  And Mmmmmm, the smell of gingerbread in the room was wonderful!

 Lots of snow drifts!

 Gum drop trees enhanced the landscaping!

 Decisions of windows and doors...and I wonder who will be living inside?  Fairies or Brownies?

 It continued to snow...

 Our building foreman, Julie, encouraged all of us apprentices with lots of help and training.

 Here are just a few for your viewing pleasure.  There were 17 of us!

 it was an entire village!

 We placed them all on our dining table.  How festive!

And while we had lunch later that day, a woodpecker flew in to add it's beautiful little self to the snow-covered tree right outside the window.  Maybe a Downy?  Click on the picture to enlarge and take a guess!  What a special day!  More to come.....
