Part IV - a walk to The Pines

After finishing our gingerbread houses, we walked out to The Pines to gather some treasures of nature that we could add to the balsam wreaths or swags we would make in the afternoon on Saturday.  The Pines are so beautiful in every season!
Deciding where the best treasures have fallen off the trees or where the prettiest wild weeds are to clip.
And looking up at the most beautiful of all.
The Anderson Building in the snow makes a lovely winter scene...
and the red farm wagon.

Trudging on!
The weeds with their fluffy winter hats on!

Smile!
Enjoying the beauty.
Pretty little berries still hanging on.

and more snowy hats!

It just goes on and on.  And we saw two coyote running through the field.  So beautiful.

Peace...

A rest for the season.

The preschool children must have made these little birdfeeders!
And back across the bridge.
Come on, Janice!  It's lunchtime! ... "I'm coming!"
A glance back at The Farm.
Back down the path to the Lodge.
And a stop for one more pretty!
